Etihad Offers Check-in & Baggage Drop Off at Home Service

Travelling can be a hassle in many ways, from luggage to booking a seat and as of recent years conducting a PCR test. To ease the whole process Etihad Airways, has partnered with Dnata porterage service, Dubz and healthcare specialists, Life Dx to create a comprehensive home check in experience.

You’ll now be able to do your PCR test, check in, select your seats, grab your boarding passes, and hand over your bags, all in one seamless appointment.

This does not only minimize airport time, but also avoids last minute scrambles and cutting out inconvenient queue time.

The service is bookable via the Etihad website, with prices from Dhs220 for four bags. The Home Check in Plus package at Dhs400 includes check in for four guests, priority boarding and priority baggage collection at the destination, the home PCR testing is an additional cost of Dhs239 per person.

To make things even easier, you can now validate all your Covid-19 travel documents before you get to the airport.

The ‘Manage My Booking ‘tab includes a section for uploading all the relevant documents for travel during the pandemic. Once all the documents have been checked and verified, you’ll be sent an email confirming you are ‘verified to fly’.
