Explosion and Fire In Abu Dhabi Brought Under Control

According to the national news agency WAM, no "significant damages" have been reported following explosion and fire incidents in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

The first incident led to the explosion of three petroleum tankers in the Musaffah Icad 3 area near ADNOC's storage yard, while the second "minor" fire was near a construction area of the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Police say drones may have sparked an explosion on three oil tankers in Abu Dhabi and may have set off a separate fire at an extension of the emirate’s main airport, still under construction.

Abu Dhabi police announced three deaths and 6 injures as a result of the drone attack near the airport.
