Filipino Boy Band SB19's Dubai Concert is Cancelled

The highly anticipated SB19 concert in Dubai, part of their Pagtatag world tour, faced disappointment as the Filipino boy band's performance scheduled for Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in Oud Metha got canceled. The abrupt cancellation of Filipino boy band SB19 announced by their label, 1Z Entertainment, on Instagram without providing a reason, left fans inconvenienced.

Despite the cancellation, Filipino boy band SB19 members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, expressed deep regret to their fans and thanked them for their continued support and understanding.

Filipino boy band SB19,  gaining international recognition for their take on Philippine pop (P-pop), recently made headlines by breaking into the Billboard World Digital Sales top 10 charts with their track "Gento."

Filipino boy band SB19 swiftly transitioned from their discovery in a talent contest to becoming a prominent sensation in the world of P-pop. ShowBT Philippines, a subsidiary of a South Korean company, initially recruited the members as performers for corporate events, later recognizing their potential to form a boy band.

The Philippine band's rapid success, similar to K-pop's global appeal, garnered a significant fan base, especially among K-pop enthusiasts. Despite the setback, Filipino boy band SB19 continues to prepare for future performances while navigating their independence after parting ways with ShowBT and establishing their label, 1Z Entertainment.
