The UAE will experience fair weather today, with skies remaining mostly clear and a noticeable rise in temperatures, according to the latest forecast from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Clouds may appear eastward throughout the day, but no major disturbances are expected due to weak surface pressure systems combined with an upper-air high-pressure extension. Daytime temperatures will gradually increase, while nighttime and early Friday morning will feel humid, especially in coastal areas.

Here’s a quick breakdown of today’s forecast:

  • Temperatures:

    • Coastal & Islands: 40°C to 44°C (Max), 24°C to 29°C (Min)

    • Internal Areas: 42°C to 46°C (Max), 23°C to 27°C (Min)

    • Mountain Regions: 34°C to 39°C (Max), 22°C to 26°C (Min)

  • Humidity Levels:

    • Up to 80% in coastal areas

    • 75% in internal and mountain regions during peak times

  • Winds:

    • Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds at 10–20 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h in internal areas during the day.

  • Sea Conditions:

    • Slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea

As the heat continues to build, residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor exposure during peak afternoon hours.
