Unstable Weather in UAE: Rain, Dust & Rising Temps Ahead

The UAE is bracing for a period of relatively unsettled weather, according to forecasts by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The turbulent conditions, which began on Saturday, April 18, are expected to continue through Wednesday, April 22.

The week commenced with fair to partly cloudy skies and a significant rise in temperatures over the weekend, accompanied by light to moderate winds. These conditions marked the beginning of what appears to be a volatile pattern of weather.

As of today, Sunday, April 19, the forecast predicts gradual changes that will intensify in the coming days. By Monday night, cloud cover is anticipated to increase over coastal areas and islands, paving the way for more unstable weather mid-week.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies, blowing dust, and a chance of rainfall across various regions. The western and eastern areas are likely to be particularly affected.

The shift in weather will also bring cooler temperatures and freshening winds, which could reach speeds of up to 40 km/h. These winds are expected to create rough sea conditions at times in the Arabian Gulf, although the Sea of Oman will remain relatively calm.

Residents are advised to stay updated with weather warnings and exercise caution during this period of fluctuating conditions.
