The opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which was held on Sunday, November 20 at Al Bayt Stadium, captured the attention of the international media, due to the unprecedented preparation, organization, and fascination witnessed in the history of the openings of the most prominent tournament in the world.

The international media described the opening ceremony as historic, as it captured the world's attention and sparked a wide interaction among football fans, stressing the keenness of the organizers of the ceremony to achieve rapprochement among all peoples and to overcome differences through humanity and respect.

The German News Agency (DPA) confirmed that Qatar organized a dazzling opening ceremony for the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, noting that the ceremony included paragraphs that mixed Qatari traditions and international culture, in addition to the artistic segment that reviewed the songs and mascots of the previous editions of the tournament.

The German news agency praised the opening ceremony, which began with a group of dance performances that ignited the enthusiasm of the masses.

The ceremony also witnessed a special presentation of the championship mascot, which flew in the air to the sound of music, after which the famous movie star Morgan Freeman delivered a speech accompanied by the Qatari youth, Ghanem Al-Moftah, Goodwill Ambassador.
