Mild Earthquake Hits Khor Fakkan, UAE—No Damage Reported

A mild 2.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Khor Fakkan on Tuesday evening, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

It struck at exactly 8:35 PM and was felt slightly by some residents in the area—but no damage, no panic, and definitely no need to run for cover.

The quake hit at a depth of 5 kilometers, which explains why it was felt but didn’t cause any real impact.

The NCM shared a snapshot of the exact location where the tremor occurred—just your regular earth stretch and yawn.

So, Should You Worry?
Nope. The NCM confirmed it had no effect and was just a light shake, probably over before most people noticed.
