Pedestrians in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah are being reminded through social media videos about the hazards of crossing roads at undesignated locations.

Those caught breaking the law will be subject to fines, with pedestrians facing AED 400 penalties. Similarly, motorists failing to yield at pedestrian crossings will be fined AED 500 and accumulate 4 black points on their driving records.
