RTA Announces Extra Metro Hours on Sunday

The Dubai Metro's operating hours will be extended on February 12, 2023, according to a statement made on Friday by Dubai's Road and Transport Authority.

In order to ensure that Dubai marathon 2023 participants have easy access to Expo City Dubai, RTA has announced that the Metro would begin operating at 4:00 am instead of 8:00 am.

Since the marathon's launch in 1998, this will mark the first time the route has been modified. On Sunday, February 12, the famous 42.195-meter race will begin and end at Expo City. Running from the starting line at Jubilee Park around Expo City and onto Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street, via the Jumeirah Golf Estates and Dubai Investment Park, and then looping back to the finish at the Al Wasl Dome is now the current route for Dubai Marathon 2023 participants.
