Abu Dhabi experienced a rock revolution Friday night as Russian band Leningrad took the stage at the sold-out Saadiyat Nights open-air concert series.

Known for their satirical lyrics and boundary-pushing style, the band delivered a high-energy set of their greatest hits, leaving fans mesmerized.

Opening with their hit Show, Leningrad went on to play fan favorites like WWW and A Couple of Women, turning the night into an unforgettable sing-along. The charismatic frontman Sergey Shnurov expressed his excitement, saying, "I am honored to be in Abu Dhabi for the first time, with great atmosphere. Thank you for having me.”

The band closed the night with their signature track Excuse Me, leaving the crowd roaring with applause and cheers as they wrapped up their first-ever performance in Abu Dhabi.

Saadiyat Nights is part of the Abu Dhabi Calendar’s diverse lineup of year-round events, featuring music, sports, art exhibitions, comedy shows, and more.

Adding to the vibe, the custom-built venue also offered a variety of delicious food and drink options, including Pitfire’s New York-style pizza, Lila Taqueria’s Mexican delights, Eleven Green’s juicy burgers, and brews from Nowhere Café and Aptitude Café.

Leningrad’s debut at Saadiyat Nights has set a new standard for the series, proving Abu Dhabi continues to be a hub for world-class entertainment and cultural experiences.
