The Shocking Myths That Many Gen X Women Grew Up Believing

Women from Gen X were grown up when old ideas encountered fast social changes. In the 1970s and 1980s, they were taught by families, schools, and in the media how to have relationships, how to work, and who they are. Some advice helped them to become strong and independent but some of the ideas set unrealistic expectations that many were later to realize were wrong. Today, many Gen X women look back and see that some lessons were not true.
