UAE BTS Fans Face Massive Queues as World Tour Ticket Sales Turn Chaotic

BTS ticket sales officially kicked off — and for fans in the UAE, it was intense from the first second.

As the group announced their biggest world tour to date, with 79 shows across 34 cities, fans logged in ready to fight queues, crashes, and the clock. Presales opened at 3pm on January 22, and within seconds, tens of thousands were already ahead in line.

A Queue That Felt Impossible

Fans who joined the queue right on time were shocked to see over 100,000 people ahead of them almost instantly. With stadium capacities averaging around 40,000, hopes dropped fast.

Many waited for over an hour, only to be kicked out or met with sold-out messages once they finally got through.

Weeks of Preparation, Seconds of Chaos

This wasn’t a casual sale. Fans had prepared weeks in advance — buying ARMY memberships, verifying identities, coordinating devices, and even warning banks about upcoming transactions.

Some set multiple alarms before sale time, treating ticket day like a mission. Still, preparation didn’t always guarantee success.

Fans Jumped Across Global Sales

UAE-based fans didn’t limit themselves to one city. Many joined queues across multiple countries — South Korea, the US, and Europe — switching tabs and time zones throughout the day.

Some managed to secure tickets after hours of waiting, while others watched shows sell out just seconds before their turn.

No Sleep, Just Strategy

Several fans admitted they skipped sleep entirely to stay alert through back-to-back sales. Group chats turned into planning hubs, with friends and family coordinating across locations to improve their chances.

Despite system lags and long waits, a few fans managed to walk away with tickets for European and US shows — calling it a win after an exhausting day.

Hopes Now Shift to the Middle East

While UAE fans missed out this time, hope is far from gone. BTS has confirmed Middle East dates are coming in 2027, sparking strong speculation about a possible UAE stop.

Fans point to the group’s early performance in Abu Dhabi in 2016 as a reason to stay optimistic — and many say they’re already mentally preparing for the next ticket battle.

For now, it’s alarms off, screens closed, and fingers crossed for Dubai.
