UAE Federal Tax Authority Launched Corporate Tax Pre-Registration

Through the EmaraTax platform for digital tax services, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) of the United Arab Emirates has started providing early registration for business tax.
 

Taxable Persons will be subject to Corporate Tax influential with their first financial year that begins on or after 1 June 2023. According to the Authority, some types of UAE-based organizations can register early from January 2023 to May 2023. Further announcements will be made when registration opens to more firms and corporations following this round.

The FTA will send invitations to register using the EmaraTax platform to these chosen organizations via email and SMS. 

According to the FTA, the authorities would provide firms and companies enough time to register and comply with legal requirements. Priority will be given to organizations and corporations whose fiscal year begins on June 1, 2023, when registration opens.
