UAE Might Have a 'Female Version' of Burj Khalifa Soon!

At the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival, Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar Properties, revealed plans for a redesigned tower at Dubai Creek Harbour. The tower, initially intended to surpass the Burj Khalifa in height, will now be smaller and more elegant. Construction has commenced on this centerpiece of the six-square-kilometer project, with approval granted for the new design.

Elegance Redefined

Alabbar emphasized the strategic shift in design, highlighting the tower's elegance as a distinguishing feature. He explained that profitability considerations led to the decision to prioritize apartment views over extreme height. The redesigned tower, dubbed the "Creek Tower," is envisioned as a counterpart to the iconic Burj Khalifa, symbolizing a balanced architectural approach.

Innovative Development

In addition to the tower, Alabbar discussed plans for a new mall at Dubai Creek Harbour. This mall aims to redefine the shopping experience by potentially allowing electric cars to enter, a unique concept in mall design. Despite not aiming to be the largest mall globally, the focus is on creating an innovative and dynamic space for visitors.

Future Outlook

While Alabbar didn't disclose immediate plans to list ecommerce giant Noon, he hinted at potential future developments. As Dubai Creek Harbour emerges as a key destination, characterized by innovative architecture and forward-thinking design, the project underscores Dubai's commitment to sustainable urban development and economic growth.
