UAE Schools New Timings & Days Off

Emirates Schools Establishment has announced today that UAE schools will follow the new working week system which was announced by the UAE government on 7 December 2021, taking into consideration the academic levels and logistics of each school. 

Starting from 1 January 2022, school days in the UAE will be from Monday to Thursday and half a day on Friday, while the new weekend for UAE Schools will be on Saturday & Sunday.
