UAE Schools' Midterm Break to Begin on This Date

Several schools in the UAE will get a seven-day midterm break from Oct. 16 to Oct. 22.

These school students will get the whole week off, which means they will have a chance to relax and rejuvenate during this long midterm break.

The break will also allow students the time to prepare for any upcoming exams or finish assignments. 

The Ministry of Education (MOE) allows these breaks, so long as the schools complete a minimum of 188 days for the MOE curriculum and 182 days for the international curriculum.

After this midterm break, the next holiday is the UAE National Day holiday, which will give the school students a long weekend to enjoy.
