The highest restaurant in the UAE, 1484 By Puro on Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, announced that it will close temporarily in a press statement.

"In light of the strengthened restrictions put in place to ensure the wellbeing of all visitors to Ras Al Khaimah, and in our ongoing pursuit to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience, we have decided to temporarily close 1484 By Puro on Jebel Jais," the statement read.

"We see this as an opportune time to enhance our offering and reconfigure and expand the space to create an even more memorable dining experience," it added.

The restaurant said it would offer guests an outdoor pop-up dining experience an alternative.
