Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, made a tour at the Abu Dhabi's International Defense Exhibition on Monday.

The UAE’s Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces met representatives from the UK, Greece, Russia and Ethiopia, and discussed ways to bolster ties between their countries and increase defense and military co-operation.

"Idex is an important defense platform shaping the global defense industry and also helping to forge new partnerships between countries," Sheikh Mohamed tweeted on Sunday.

The Middle East’s largest defense fair hosts top industry players and runs until Thursday.

Latest technologies ranging from missile defense systems, drones, counter-unmanned aerial vehicle systems, cybersecurity tools and artificial intelligence technology will be in demand in the International Defense Exhibition, according to analysts.

IDEX and NAVDEX opened today in AbuDhabi with the participation of 900 companies showcasing the latest military technology and innovations.
