Weather Forecast: Rain and Wind Expected the Whole Week

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has released its weekly forecast, predicting the arrival of a surface depression from the southwest, which will bring windy and rainy conditions to the country.

Rainfall Outlook

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to have partly to mostly cloudy skies, with chances of light to moderate rainfall, particularly in the northern, eastern, and southern regions. This weather pattern is attributed to a surface low-pressure system from the southwest and an upper-air low-pressure extension, causing varying cloud cover from the west.

Windy and Dusty Conditions

Friday will witness dusty and windy conditions, accompanied by light rain mainly in the eastern parts of the country.

In light of the anticipated weather conditions, Abu Dhabi Police have issued a reminder to motorists to exercise caution when driving, especially in unsettled weather.
