You Can Now Bring Your Small Dog on PAL Domestic Flights

Good news for fur parents in the Philippines: no more sad airport goodbyes.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is now allowing passengers to bring small dogs on board all domestic flights under its expanded FurPAL program.

Originally launched in November 2025 on select routes, the service now covers every local destination — from Manila to Boracay, Davao, Bacolod, and beyond.

How Much and What’s Allowed

The fee is ₱2,500 one-way per pet.

Here’s what you need to know before booking:

  • Only small dogs up to 10kg

  • At least 8 weeks old and fully weaned

  • Must travel in a soft-sided, leak-proof carrier

  • Carrier must fit under the seat

  • No sedation allowed

  • One pet per passenger

  • Maximum of three small dogs per flight

So yes, it’s cozy — but limited.

Don’t Forget the Paperwork

Before heading to the airport, make sure you’ve got:

  • Health certificate

  • Updated vaccination records

  • Veterinary certificate

  • PAL waiver and declaration form

  • Shipping permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry

No documents, no boarding.

What About Safety?

PAL says safety remains the top priority. Aircraft are equipped with hospital-grade HEPA filters, and cabins are thoroughly cleaned with eco-friendly products.

Bookings can be made through the PAL website.

For pet owners who’ve been waiting for this moment, domestic travel just got a lot more paws-friendly.
