Album: UAE Passport at 'Power Rank One' Solely in Passport Index

Passport Index, a global ranking, ranked the United Arab Emirates is ranked as the world's number one passport to hold in terms of mobility and freedom from travel restrictions

The UAE surpassed Germany, Sweden, Finland and Luxembourg with 121 countries entry without visa, and visa on arrival in a further 59 states for its citizens. This makes them eligible to travel to 91% of countries in the world.

UAE passport holder need a visa for 19 countries only.

The country got a "mobility score" of 180 because of the number of visa-free and visa on arrival privileges in other countries, and "the higher the mobility score, the better global mobility its passport bearer enjoys," according to the report.

Networking platform InterNations has recently ranked as one of the world's top five cities for expats to live.
