Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein will wed Rajwa Al Saif on June 1 in what is expected to be the most extravagant royal wedding of 2023. The festivities have begun as Queen Rania threw a henna celebration at Madareb Bani Hashem for Rajwa Al Saif, her future daughter-in-law on Tuesday.
 

The Riyadh-born Architect chose a custom-made dress from the eponymous line of Saudi designer Honayda Serafi for the event, with the traditional attire blending white and gold tones to match the festive atmosphere of the celebration.

Bride to be, Rajwa Al Saif wore a Najdi outfit known as a Thob As-Sahabi for the Henna evening celebrations, which incorporated features of Jordanian and Saudi Arabian traditions and culture.

Rajwa's head covering or veil is woven with the aesthetics of the traditional Najdi heritage with the addition of the symbol for eternal love. The veil with tulle cloth stands out by luxurious gold embroidered designs featuring different silk threads of cantilever and tulle in golden color.

The top part of the garment has been inspired by a traditional Najdi bodice, and it is composed of a crepe fabric with golden embroidery. All of these patterns are inverted triangle shapes and are thought to be Arabic plastic motifs and part of the history of Arab civilization. 

The seven-pointed star, the palm, the house of poetry, and the meanings of the dress's colors are used as inspiration for the dress's patterns.

The color white stands for elegance, sophistication, and kindness. When combined with the color gold, it conveys luxury, generosity, loyalty, and brilliance, which are the characteristics that the event represents.
