Several drivers in Dubai were faced with legal issues due to their risky behavior on the city's highways, while it was raining.
They were arrested not long after the videos went viral on social media. The drivers' vehicles have been seized, and Dubai Police gave them to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
The impounded vehicles were found to have broken several regulations, including performing stunts, causing havoc, risking the lives of other road users, and illegally modifying vehicles, resulting in excessive noise pollution, according to Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic.
According to the type of violation and the monetary fines assessed under the Federal Traffic Law, he continued, the period of vehicle impoundment varies.

The authorities have warned to take serious action against drivers who drive carelessly and endanger the lives of others on the road.
