Dubai Hospital’s Drone Successfully Delivers Medicines to Patient

The future is truly here, as demonstrated by a hospital in Dubai that used a drone to transport medication to a patient's home.

The ground-breaking feat, completed by Fakheeh University Hospital, involved flying a drone within a 10-kilometer range from the medical facility to the patient's residence at Cedre Villas in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).

This was accomplished after a year-long period of trials at DSO, a member of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and a special economic zone for knowledge and innovation.

Together with the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), they were also completed.
