Vice President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, along with his family, visited volunteers of the Bridges of Giving relief campaign on Monday.

A production line operated non-stop from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre to package relief boxes that will be shipped to Türkiye and Syria. The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiative called on volunteers last week to boost the Bridges of Giving campaign's appeal.

The Ruler of Dubai shared pictures of the event and wrote "2,000 volunteers participated in today's campaign, including children, school students, employees from the government and private sectors, businessmen, intellectuals, and others. Their goal is one."

Sheikh Mohammed also signed a postcard for the victims of the Türkiye and Syria and it said “we are with you, and we will always be by your side. You have all our support. Don't let go of hope."

The target of Monday's relief campaign was to fill 15,000 relief boxes and it was also a continuation of the allocation of $100 million in aid from the UAE for the victims of the Türkiye-Syria earthquake.
