Dubai, UAE  2025: Dyson has officially released its first hair care-meets-styling product line – the Dyson Chitosan™ range – in the Middle East. Backed by over a decade of cutting-edge research in hair science, the brand’s new wet-line formulations are designed to deliver high-performance results across all hair types, ushering in a new era of styling rooted in engineering precision and ingredient innovation.

Dyson Chitosan™ includes two signature formulations. The Pre-Style Cream transforms from a cream to a sheer serum as it’s worked into the hands, allowing for smooth and even application. It primes, holds and conditions the hair, reducing frizz while preserving natural shine. The Post-Style Serum, a lightweight yet powerful finisher, is applied on dry, styled hair as the final step to give the style flexible hold and enhanced shine while hydrating the hair to help repair surface damage. The serum offers long-lasting definition and frizz control. Together, these two formulations form a styling system that prioritises hair health without compromising on performance.

A POWERFUL HERO INGREDIENT

At the heart of the range is chitosan, a complex macromolecule derived from oyster mushrooms. This unique hero ingredient is engineered using Dyson Triodetic™ technology, which forms lightweight, flexible bonds around each strand for all-day hold with natural movement and shine.

PRECISION DOSING. REFILLABLE PRODUCTS.

Dyson’s research and development didn’t stop at the formulas. When exploring delivery systems, engineers uncovered frustrations with existing solutions, like tubes or jars, and decided to design one in-house to combat them. The Dyson-engineered precision applicator has been rigorously tested to deliver the same amount pump after pump. An exact 0.23 ml is dispensed every time, helping to prevent product wastage or overuse.

The full-size formulation packaging is refillable, and the outer packaging is tested and built to last. Plus, the refill cartridges can be recycled at home.
