Expo City Mall to Open in Dubai by 2024

According to a tweet from the Dubai Media Office, Dubai has announced that Expo City Mall, which includes more than 190 retail and food and beverage establishments, will open in 2024.

The shopping center, Expo City Mall, will be easily accessible via Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Expo Road, and Jebel Ali Road. Additionally, it will have a metro station, Dubai Expo 2020, which was constructed for the World's fair and will serve the mall and there will be no entry fee to access the site. However, specific attractions within the city may have their own admission charges.

It will prioritize sustainability by prohibiting private vehicles, using eco-friendly buildings, and providing alternative transportation means such as scooters, bicycles, and buggies.

The Emaar South project developers have announced the latest residential properties for sale. These new homes are being sold by Expo City Dubai, which is transforming the previous site of the World's fair into a lively residential area. The homes are available for purchase at a starting price of Dh1.2 million ($330,000).

Work has commenced on the construction of Expo Valley in Dubai South, and the project's first phase is expected to be completed by January 2026. The initial phase will feature 165 units, including five-bedroom villas, semi-detached homes with four or five bedrooms, and townhouses with three or four bedrooms. The price of these properties will start at Dh3.4 million.
