The world’s deepest swimming pool

Deep Dive Dubai, located in Dubai's Nad Al Sheba neighborhood, is verified by the Guinness World Record in June 2021 as the world's deepest swimming pool, at a depth of 60.02 meters and volume of 14 million liters of water. That, the owners say, is the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools.

The world’s tallest tower

The 828-metre tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai has been the tallest building since 2010. 

It also holds the record as:

Tallest freestanding structure in the world (to its very tip, with spire, 829.8m)

The building with the highest number of stories in the world (163 floors)

The highest outdoor observation deck in the world (Level 124&125 + Level 148)

The highest restaurant in the world (At.Mosphere on level 122 – 441.3m high)

The highest lounge in the world (Levels 152-154 – 585m)

The world’s largest hand-woven carpet

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is home to the biggest hand-woven Persian carpet in the world, measuring an astounding 5,630 square meters.

 It was manufactured by the Iran Carpet Company.

The carpet was created in 9 parts and assembled in the mosque. The carpet would have been around 6,000 square meters originally, but parts of it had to be taken away in order to fit it onto the floor in the mosque.

The world’s fastest roller coaster

Formula Rossa is a launched roller coaster located at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi

It is manufactured by Intamin and opened in 2010, being the world's fastest roller coaster, featuring a maximum speed of 240 kilometer per hour.

The world's tallest inverted loop at 52 meters and the world's steepest and quickest cable lift, Flying Aces, are just a few of the other exhilarating rides.

The most leaning tower in the world

Capital Gate, also known as the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, is a skyscraper in Abu Dhabi that is over 160 meters tall, 35 stories high, with over 16,000 square meters of usable office space, being the World’s Furthest Leaning Manmade Tower by Guinness World Records.

The project, owned and developed in the UAE capital by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), has been built to lean 18 degrees westwards – more than four times that of the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Capital Gate is located along Khaleej Al Arabi Street, next to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in the Capital Centre district.

The world’s largest flower garden

The Dubai Miracle Garden occupies over 72,000 square meters, making it the world's largest natural flower garden, featuring over 50 million flowers and 250 million plants.

It opened on Valentine’s Day in 2013 and now attracts more than 1.5 million visitors per year.

The floral structures are changed every season to ensure repeat visitors get a different experience each time they travel here.

Highlights have included a life-size replica of the Emirates Airbus A380, which received the Guinness Book of World Records’ “largest floral installation” title in 2016.

The world’s largest gold ring

The largest gold ring in the world, called Najmat Taiba (Star of Taiba), is on display at Rossella Jewellery in the Dubai Gold Souk in Deira.

The 21-carat ring is 64 kilograms in weight and features almost 5 kilograms of diamonds as well as 615 Swarovski crystals. It is reported to have cost $3 million and was made by 55 goldsmiths.
