Here's When Schools in Dubai Will Close for Summer Break 2023

All schools in Dubai will close for summer break 2023 on June 26, 2023, according to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

The KHDA academic schedule in a previous update was that schools were not to close until June 28th. However, commencing on Monday, June 26th, schools will be closed due to the expected Eid Al Adha and Arafat Day holidays.

According to predictions, Eid Al Adha will be celebrated at the end of June, on June 28, 29, and 30, depending on when the moon will be sighted by the official authorities. A public holiday has already been announced for June 27, 2023, in honor of Arafat Day.

Schools in Dubai will be closed for a total of nine weeks until August 28, 2023, the first day of the new school year. While continuing to adhere to the KHDA's guidelines, schools in Dubai are permitted to provide some leeway with regard to the dates of their terms.
