HH Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum Participates in Campaign to Support Gaza

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has participated in Tarahum, the 'Compassion - for Gaza' campaign at Qalaat Al Remal in Dubai.

The campaign was launched by the UAE to provide relief to Palestinians affected by the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip. 

Volunteers are invited to participate in packing humanitarian parcels to be distributed to the Palestinian people affected by the war.

The campaign is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Ministry of Community Development, and in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.

The campaign was able to attract up to 2,600 volunteers for vital participation, and their collective efforts resulted in the preparation of over 7,500 various relief packages, including food baskets for children and women residing in Gaza. 

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continued to worsen as hundreds of innocent civilians including women and children were killed in the bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on Tuesday, October 17th.
