Michelin Guide to Launch the Dubai Edition in June

The prestigious Michelin Guide is set to launch the Dubai edition in June this year, with restaurants in the city awarded up to three stars for excellence.

The selection will be made according to the tested methodology that is applied worldwide by Michelin Guide inspectors, based on a set of five globally applicable criteria: quality of ingredients, perfection of the cooking process, consistency of flavors, expression of the chef’s personality in the kitchen, and consistency and continuity over time. And across the entire list. These criteria are applied to all selected restaurants in order to help gastronomic experts from all over the world make an informed choice among the highest quality options.

The Michelin Guide evaluates its restaurants through a comprehensive system of features, the most famous of which are the internationally known Michelin stars. Restaurants are awarded one Michelin star for high-quality food that is worth a quick visit during any flight, two Michelin stars for excellent cuisine that is worth a diversion, or three stars for exceptional cuisine that is especially worth traveling for.

In addition to the Michelin star ratings, the guide also includes a Bib Gourmand rating for restaurants serving three-course meals with an emphasis on value for money.

The Michelin Guide Dubai's selection of Michelin Dubai restaurants will be available online at guide.michelin.com, where users can also categorize them by location, cuisine type, services and facilities to find restaurants to suit their tastes and requirements.

Dubai is the latest addition to the Michelin Guide, which currently covers 36 culinary destinations across North America, South America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
