In an exclusive ceremony held at UAE’s Atlantis The Royal on Tuesday, three restaurants in Dubai were given the coveted Michelin stars for the second edition, raising the city's elite list to 14.

For the first time, Avatara, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, and Moonrise each received one Michelin star.

Trèsind Studio, Nakheel Tower, Palm Jumeirah, received the Michelin two-star ranking for the first time.

Also, Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Bulgari Dubai and Stay by Yannick Alléno, One&Only The Palm retained their two-star rating.

Also keeping their one Michelin star status were 11 Woodfire, Al Muntaha, Armani Ristorante, Hakkasan, Hoseki, Ossiano, Tasca by Jose Avillez, and Torno Subito.
