The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has urged Indians in the UAE to register on the Global Pravasi Rishta portal.

Communication between the Indian Consulate and/or Embassy to Indians in the UAE will be facilitated by the portal according to the reports.

Emergency alerts, advisories, and real-time updates on Embassy activities and Indian government schemes will be sent to registered members.
