Ras Al Khaimah Offers Free Bus Rides on Happiness Day

In a bid to spread joy and promote community well-being, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) has announced complimentary bus rides for residents on Wednesday, March 20th, to commemorate International Happiness Day.

Commuters in Ras Al Khaimah will be delighted to know that they can hop on city buses free of charge throughout the day, thanks to RAKTA's initiative to celebrate the spirit of happiness and positivity. The decision to offer free rides on this special occasion aims to enhance public accessibility to transportation services and foster a sense of collective happiness within the community.

RAKTA's gesture of goodwill extends to all four routes of public bus transport within the emirate, ensuring that residents can conveniently travel to their destinations without the hassle of fare payment. The designated routes include the Red Line, Blue Line, Green Line, and Purple Line, catering to various commuting needs across Ras Al Khaimah.

Typically, passengers incur a bus fare of Dh8 for each trip on these routes. However, in honor of International Happiness Day, RAKTA has waived the fare requirement for the day, allowing commuters to enjoy their journeys at no cost. This initiative not only promotes the principles of happiness and inclusivity but also encourages individuals to explore the city and engage in meaningful experiences with loved ones.

As residents and visitors take advantage of this generous offer, RAKTA hopes to create positive memories and lasting impressions, reinforcing the emirate's commitment to promoting happiness and positivity at every opportunity.
