UAE Government Revenue Reaches AED 156 Billion

In the last quarter of 2023, the UAE's government revenues stood at AED 155.9 billion, marking a 9% increase compared to the same period in 2022, as per the preliminary data from the finance ministry.

During this period, total expenditures amounted to AED 131.3 billion, covering various expenses such as wages, services, and subsidies. Additionally, net lending/borrowing, indicating the financial impact of government activities on the economy, reached AED 24.6 billion.

Younis Haji Al Khoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance said, "The UAE government is keen to diversify its revenue sources, while also ensuring optimal use of financial resources and improved efficiency of government spending."
