UAE Launches New Project to Explore Venus

There is no end to UAE’s accomplishments as the country prepares for a new mission to explore planet Venus and seven asteroids in the solar system.

This will mark the first Arab landing on an asteroid at the end of a 3.6 billion km journey (or 7 times the distance travelled by Hope Probe’s trip to Mars).

The UAE was successful to land the Hope Probe on Mars after extensive preparation where it aims to help understand the environment on the planet in hope of understanding the environment on our plant.

A social media message from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, added that the UAE’s space journey is still in its "infancy stage" and aims to "resume our Arab civilisation".

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said the move "sets an ambitious new goal" for the country.
