Travel on These Dates to Get the Best Ticket Rates During Summer

For those living in the UAE and traveling outside of the country this summer, Skyscanner has shared its best money-saving tips. This summer, the week of August 19 is the cheapest for flying from the United Arab Emirates. Traveling on these dates will save a family of four an average of AED 760 compared to traveling in July.

The first two weeks of the summer break are the most popular for traveling but also the most expensive, according to Skyscanner's Savings Generator.

The day, in addition to the dates, also has a significant impact. The savings calculator claims that travelers would save even more money if they book their flights and travel on a Friday.

For instance, a family of four can save AED 669 on average for their return flight to Turkey this July and August by flying on a Friday rather than a Saturday. 

Skyscanner reports that only 4% of UAE citizens really take advantage of airline tickets these days. 

Regional airlines have added 15 new flight routes in 2023. UAE residents have direct access to amazing new vacation locations, from Thailand to Italy, Greece to India.
