UAE Announces 6-day Break for Public Sector Workers in Eid Al Adha

As Eid Al Adha 2023 approaches, public sector workers will be granted a six-day break.

According to all ministries and federal institutions in the UAE, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources stated that the vacation will start from Tuesday, June 27th until Friday, June 30th. This means that public sector employees will resume their work on Monday, July 3.

The UAE Cabinet has sorted the list for the public and private sector holiday dates for 2023 dedicating four days for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha.

Eid Al Adha, which is known to be an Islamic festival, usually falls on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah, and marks the 12th and final month of the Islamic calendar.
