The UAE has dispatched its ninth aid ship to Gaza, carrying 7,000 tonnes of essential humanitarian supplies as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

The vessel set sail from Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Port and is headed to Egypt’s Al Arish Port, where the aid will be transferred into the Gaza Strip to support Palestinians, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Organised in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, the shipment includes 5,000 tonnes of food parcels, 1,900 tonnes of food items to supply community kitchens, 100 tonnes of medical tents for healthcare facilities, and five fully equipped ambulances.
