How Can You Help the People in Gaza While Living in the UAE?

On Friday, the UAE began a relief effort for Palestinians stuck in the crossfire of the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip.

The "Compassion for Gaza" campaign will involve charitable organizations, volunteer organizations, the commercial sector, all other communities in the nation, and the media, and will build centers to gather and organize assistance supplies.

The campaign will launch the following Sunday in Abu Dhabi, under the direction of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority. It will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Abu Dhabi Ports Hall in Mina Zayed.

The Palestinians in Gaza shall be given their basic requirements, as well as medical supplies and other items for personal hygiene. 

The remaining Emirates will shortly have mobilization and collection stations established.

As part of the humanitarian efforts made by the UAE to give immediate aid to the Palestinian people, this campaign has been launched in collaboration with the World Food Programme, in coordination with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Community Development.

The campaign also aims to support Palestinian families and children in Gaza. The UAE wants to lessen the suffering of those most in need, especially the more than a million kids who make up roughly half of the population of the Gaza Strip.
