UFC 294 Fight Night Returns to Abu Dhabi in October

UFC 294 is returning to Abu Dhabi on Saturday, October 21st, which will see UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev battling against Charles Oliveira.

Tickets went on sale at 12pm on Friday July 21st via etihadarena.ae and ticketmaster.ae.

This will be the second face-off between former category belt holder, Oliveira, and Makhachev. The pair last came together in the octagon in October 2022 for UFC 280.

In 2022, Makhachev defeated Oliveira by submission in the second round.

Alongside the main card, additional bouts include UFC light heavyweight contender Magomed Ankalaev, who returns to action against Johnny Walker.

Moreover, UFC middleweight contender Nassourdine Imavov will face off against Ikram Aliskerov, while flyweight contender Tim Elliott plans to become the first person to defeat Mohammad Mokaev.

UFC 294 is part of the fifth Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. 

Alongside the huge UFC fight night, Abu Dhabi will host parties, concerts, and events.
