Rio Carnival 2022 

Rio Carnival is celebrated five days preceding Ash Wednesday, which is the start of Lent in the Catholic calendar. Accordingly, Rio carnival 2022 will start on Friday, February 25th, until March 5th. Unfortunately, the Rio Carnival celebration in Brazil will be postpended until late April instead of the final weekend of February, due to Covid-19.
