Researchers into the most distant continent of our planet have discovered that there is a very surprising and growing gravitational anomaly beneath the Antarctic continent. More often than not this area is referred to as a gravity hole as the gravity pull of this area is less than that of other surrounding regions. Recent discoveries indicate that it is becoming more and more powerful with time passing, leaving the world asking itself about the deep Earth processes, changes in ice masses, and of how this phenomenon can further affect global sea levels and other scientific exploration endeavors in the future.
