Dubai Named the Most Visited Destination in the World

The Global Hotel Alliance revealed that Dubai was the most visited city for stays registered by the 22 million members of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program during the first nine months of this year, recording a 48% growth compared to the same period last year, followed by Singapore and Bangkok in second and third places.

Global Hotel Alliance pointed out that the top three countries in terms of member residencies - for international destinations only were the Maldives, Thailand, and the UAE.

According to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the Emirate succeeded in attracting 7.12 million international visitors between January and June 2022, compared to 2.52 million international visitors in the same period last year, an increase of more than 183%.
