A campaign has been launched in Dubai to construct a new mosque in tribute to Daria Kotsarenko, a Ukrainian expatriate who embraced Islam shortly before her passing.

Initiative by Dar Al Ber Society

The initiative is being spearheaded by the Dar Al Ber Society, responsible for the Islamic Information Centre where Daria converted to Islam and received her conversion certificate on March 25. Her untimely demise, attributed to a heart attack, has prompted the society to undertake the construction of a mosque in her memory.
