Dubai to Welcome World’s Tallest Wellbeing Resort by 2028

Dubai is raising the bar for luxury wellness with Therme Dubai, the world’s tallest wellbeing resort, set to open at Zabeel Park by 2028.

Announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the landmark project aligns with the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, reinforcing the city's commitment to sustainability, urban biodiversity, and holistic wellbeing.

Standing 100 meters high, the Dh2 billion development will feature an interactive park and the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, designed to accommodate 1.7 million visitors annually.

“This innovative project reflects our commitment to enhancing urban biodiversity and environmental sustainability while offering enriching experiences for Dubai’s residents and visitors,” said Sheikh Hamdan.

A Greener Future for Dubai

Dubai has been actively expanding its green spaces, with 216,500 trees planted in 2024—a 17% increase from 2023. As part of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy, the emirate aims to enhance pedestrian-friendly environments, improve access to public services within 20 minutes, and expand parks and beaches.

Some key initiatives include:

  • 200+ new parks
  • 300% increase in cycling tracks along beaches
  • 60% extension of night swimming beaches
  • New women-only beach

With Therme Dubai leading the way, the city continues its transformation into a global hub for wellbeing, sustainability, and luxury living.
