Eid Al Adha: Qurbani Orders Now Live on UAE Grocery Apps

UAE residents can now pre-order Qurbani animals for Eid Al Adha through their favorite grocery apps—no butcher visits required.

With Eid Al Adha 2025 expected to begin on Saturday, June 7, platforms like Careem and Noon Minutes have relaunched their sacrificial animal services, giving users a chance to order sheep, goats, cows, or even camels directly from their phones. Prices start at Dh1,000 and can go up to Dh7,000 depending on the size and type of animal.

Careem Groceries, in partnership with Dhabayeh Al Emarat, offers several local and imported options. For example, a 14–17 kg local goat aged 12 to 24 months is priced at Dh1,723, while a 7–9-month-old Naimi sheep (16–20 kg) goes for Dh2,143. Pre-orders are open now in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and will run until June 4.

“We’re excited to bring it back to support this meaningful practice while also enabling charitable giving,” said Chase Lario, VP of Careem Groceries. “Customers loved the ease and convenience of ordering their Udhiya through Careem last year.”

Buyers can choose to receive the meat at home or donate it directly to the UAE Food Bank, an organization that’s already delivered over 70 million meals nationwide. The app even lets you schedule your sacrifice for any of the first four days of Eid, ensuring full flexibility.

Meanwhile, Noon Minutes has rolled out its own Qurbani campaign in partnership with Oasis Livestock (Zabehaty). Their offerings include everything from a Dh1,000 Somali goat to a massive 150 kg full cow or camel priced at Dh7,000. Users can choose between whole carcass delivery or pre-cut options, with two-time slots available on the first day of Eid.

Qurbani—or Udhiya—is a sacred Islamic tradition where Muslims commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion by sacrificing livestock and distributing the meat among family, friends, and those in need. And now, with just a few taps, UAE residents can honor this act of faith without the hassle.

So yes, there’s an app for that—and your Eid prep just got way easier.
