Flydubai Plane Lands Safely in Dubai After a Birdstrike

A flydubai plane landed safely in Dubai after experiencing a bird strike during its takeoff from Nepal. The plane landed safely at Dubai International Airport at 12:11 a.m. from Kathmandu.

When the incident occurred, the flight crew first ensured that the engine was operating properly, then they continued the flight. 

The aircraft landed safely in Dubai and flydubai planned to inspect the plane again. A flydubai spokesperson said "The safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our passengers' travel schedule."

After the bird strike occurred, Nepal Civil Aviation said "Fly Dubai flight number 576, (Boeing 737-800) Kathmandu to Dubai flight is normal now and proceeding to her destination Dubai as per the flight plan."

The flight was carrying 150 passengers, including 50 Nepalis.
