Parkin Activates Code X, Sets Dh25/hr Fee for Gitex 2025

Parkin just dropped an update ahead of Gitex Global 2025 — and if you’re driving, you’ll want to know this. The parking operator announced that “Code X” will be in effect around the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) while the event runs from October 13 to 17.

That means Dh25 per hour for parking in the designated areas. The move aims to keep traffic flowing smoothly as thousands pour into Dubai for the world’s biggest tech and startup gathering.

RTA Says: Go Public, Not Parking

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is already waving the flag for public transport users. They’re encouraging visitors to use the Shail app to plan trips in advance and skip the stress of hunting for parking spots.

Need a quick tip? Make sure your nol card has at least Dh15 (silver) or Dh30 (gold) for a round trip before you head out.
