A Kuwait Airways plane carrying 284 passengers bound for the Philippines crashed into a fence at Kuwait International Airport early Friday morning. Officials say the incident happened at 4:24 a.m. due to a problem with the plane’s braking system.

Passengers Unharmed, Plane Damaged

Spokesman Abdullah Al Rajhi confirmed that all passengers and crew were safe. The aircraft’s fuselage was damaged, but no injuries were reported. Photos circulating online show the plane, reportedly a Boeing 777, leaning against a wire fence and post.

Flight Rescheduled, Safety Under Review

Passengers were moved to another plane, which departed at 12:20 p.m. Al Rajhi emphasized that the incident is being reviewed under strict international safety standards, highlighting that passenger safety remains the top priority for both Kuwait Airways and the Civil Aviation Authority.
